Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Organizes, plans and executes program events
- Closely monitors and handles matters pertaining to program’s budget
- Assists with proofreading, layout, and dissemination of publications
- Assists with Program outreach activities and contacts management
- Assists in preparation of presentation, proposals and reports
- Regularly updates project website, prepares project newsletters and manages the Program blog
- Helps manage the PM’s schedule, correspondence, and travel itineraries
- Conducts research in support of Program publications and briefings
- Assists in conceptualizing new project ideas
Position Requirements:
- Project Coordination: Two (2) Years
- Must demonstrate ability to organize and present information clearly and efficiently;
- Must demonstrate ability to plan and execute events and/or conferences;
- Superior writing and analytical skills;
- Ability to operate under pressure and in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to write, think, and operate both independently and on a team;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Sound judgment and impeccable integrity, positive attitude and creative outlook;
- Ability to interact with and respond to questions from a range of individuals with diverse interests and backgrounds;
- Internet and Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel; * Previous experience with project coordination a plus
