Project Coordinator

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Organizes, plans and executes program events
  • Closely monitors and handles matters pertaining to program’s budget
  • Assists with proofreading, layout, and dissemination of publications
  • Assists with Program outreach activities and contacts management
  • Assists in preparation of presentation, proposals and reports
  • Regularly updates project website, prepares project newsletters and manages the Program blog
  • Helps manage the PM’s schedule, correspondence, and travel itineraries
  • Conducts research in support of Program publications and briefings
  • Assists in conceptualizing new project ideas
Position Requirements:
  • Project Coordination: Two (2) Years
  • Must demonstrate ability to organize and present information clearly and efficiently;
  • Must demonstrate ability to plan and execute events and/or conferences;
  • Superior writing and analytical skills;
  • Ability to operate under pressure and in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to write, think, and operate both independently and on a team;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Sound judgment and impeccable integrity, positive attitude and creative outlook;
  • Ability to interact with and respond to questions from a range of individuals with diverse interests and backgrounds;
  • Internet and Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel; * Previous experience with project coordination a plus
